First look at Cuenca's tram system | Are you getting enough sunshine?

First look at Cuenca's completed tram system emerges on Av. Las Americas as landscape crews replace construction workers

If you're wondering what Cuenca's light rail system, TranvĂ­a de los
Cuatros Rios, will eventually look like, you can check it out on Av. Las Americas, southwest. Landscapers are laying sod and planting trees along the route, north of the intersection of the Azogues autopista.

According to the project manager, the most sensitive part of construction is well underway in the historic district where special measures are required to reduce vibration and to protect buildings. Overall, work on the project is about 30% complete with completion expected by July of next year.

Are you getting your daily dose of sunshine?
